Things I tried to make

It started by an inspiring colleague at work. He was always baking cakes. So I got a sudden idea of making one, something without baking as I am too lazy to bake... And I dig up my sister-in-law favorite dessert: Tiramisu

Those receipts I got were all from the internet... But the ingredients I needed were not easy to get. Simply because the wine I need to buy is always a big bottle which I don't need much for the rest (otherwise end up selling Tiramisu for life-time?!) Thanks to my friend K who got bottles of wines in her house and poured some for me..

The first version was made for an occasion, but it was not really successful because I poured too much coffee into the dough... turned out to be really soggy...

The second one was done possibly a month after, and It turns up quite 'ok'.... At least through texture and taste improved... though the outlook still needs to be improved...
Better buy 250g of Mascarpone cheese next time as for 2 person portion as 500g is just too much..!

Bon appetite..! ^_^
(next challenge maybe cheese cake)

So everybody just started cooking and making cakes..!? So excited to know and share about that..! The 'kitchen' show and the game 'Cooking Mama' seems to become catalysts..!

Experience about the trip? Will share more in the future! ^o^

It seems that you didn't use lady fingers in your first production. Instead of using lady fingers, you can use plain cake (preferably harder ones, e.g. dried up ones) but you have to use less coffee/wine. Remember not to "pour" the liquid into the biscuits/cake used. Use the dipping or brushing method will just fine. Not sure why your Tiramisu was so soggy. Maybe, it's the problem of eggwhite. Work hard on your next production! Have a look on the recipe below. A very strong taste of wine. Better to keep it in fridge for at least 2 days before serving. http://leilako.com/recipes/western/11262001_1.html

Desserts are so much harder to make than 'mains' (ie steak, chips, fish etc). Good on you! Keep trying and you will perfect it (and I will come an enjoy the dessert hehehe).
