Night Safari

So there's a night I've been to the famous zoo in Sg at night again after 5 years...

The point is, you bring your digital camera but you ended up shooting nothing because it is dark everywhere... (unless you bring a tripod and the animals are not moving)...


The most exciting experience was in the bat house, which they flied over your head and even hanged on the branch up to a touchable position... which was really scary at that time..!

Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours in there for the train ride and all the trial walk...
Not to disturb the animals too much while they are sleeping.... And perhaps fall asleep with the sweet low sexy tone of the voice of the train guide during the ride....

Hazy Singapore

The bush fire in Indonesia does affect the air quality in Singapore for the last few weeks. It happens every year in this season as the Indonesia people trying to get rid of the old palm tree and plough the land again.. Not much work can be done by the Indonesia government as too many people doing the burning... or simpily don't know how to control. This may be similar to the situation in HKG with the polluted gas from the power plant from the Mainland..

TV corner started to indicate Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) with radio broadcast every hour..

We still need to work no matter how high it is right? ^_-

ROB-B-HOOD 《寶貝計劃》

Another Jacky Chan Movie, being shown in once a year to keep his fame and continue to promote arcobatic chinese Kung-fu.

Started from the theif/burgular of view, the movie does try to prove that the famou hero could act as a theif other than policeman as well.

Full of tricks, jokes and stunts, I am pleased to watch this movie in Malaysia which it wasn't turned into a mandarin version as in Singapore so that all verbal jokes would be twisted...

The stunts, Jackie Chan's favourite, did amazed the audience in some ways, though it never been as dangerous as before such as hanging out of the vehicle or jump off from the sky.. The most stunnig one was walk along the track of the roller-coaster which we it wasn't fun if being run over. The car-crash was also a calculated timing game which he could be seriously danger.

The story, wasn't that good as expected. Fighting against an evil man is challenging, but not to a mad man as it is purely no fight.. All medical procedures are addressed wnongly which will end up people being killed if followed (wrongly feeding food to baby, hypothermia and use of de-firbillation in CPR)... Treated it as a joke? or better treated the whole movie as well..?!

I will prefer New Police Story as it is more realistic, or all those old Polce Story or Project-A than this one.

A long long way for HK movie to get back to revival...

ps. Baby Matthew does save the movie a bit, pull people in to the cinema. But won't you like to watch "Look who's talking" or "3 men and a baby" for more realistic description and jokes in how to handle a baby?

Tuesday was one of the public holiday in Singapore and Malaysia, called Hari Raya Puasa, an islamic celebration.

Trying to use Windows Live Writer to blog

This is a trial, with an external program instead of launching in blogger account for writing an article..

The thing I don't like logging into an account is the time for photo loading, it can take quite a while (depends on the network speed for sure). But sometimes it can be down (due to my wifi sharing in here I assume). So, it is no fun in uploading photos. A blog without photo is a bit bored for sure...

Will see how this program goes, it is actually designed for msn space for sure but claimed to be blogger-friendly as well. Interesting...!?

ps. well, this program does not support photo uploading with blogger obviously.. -_-

my blog was a spam blog?!

A boring passage, but indicated why long time no blog...

The page was being suspended for quite a while... I got the email before, saying my blog was classified as "spam blog"..!

1. The first email on 4/10/06:

The Departed

Based on the script of the HK movie (Infernal affair), the presentation is well tranlated into Hollywood screen: fame director, big stars, US culture...

Some characters have been modified like the background of Leonardo is well prepared for the job, the CP also acted as a media to deal with the 2 double-faced people. The flow never been bored as it is arranged in a quick pace which HK dealed it in 3 episodes. The joke of writing wrongly on the envelop also being adopted which was interesting to see too. The Chinese gansters (or gov agent) was a bit disappointed in speaking cantonese other than PTH. Well, maybe it is a respect to the origin of the script...

The screen is full of colour for sure, gun shot, foul languages which the HK dealed it to make it in Class 2 other than class 3 (restricted over 18).

The dilemma between good or bad (when both met on the roof and Leo caught Mat as hostess which the polce didn't know what to do) was still there. A tragedy of living in a double world. The chinese name presented a better culture I would think...

A good script for sure is ready for any kind of format and presentation. Remains as a classic...

ps. comment on Infernal affair epi 1 only, I hvn't watched the epi2 and 3. It is more a $ issue I think for the epi 2,3 though...

Meanwhile, the local tv started showing the famous american show in season 2...! Interesting..!
