Hero & the Heartbreak kid

Watched 2 movies recently..

1. Hero
It is the continue story from the TV series which showed 6 years ago. The movie started out the reunion of the main character 久利生公平 to the team of prosecutors in the government. He still a great fans of postal items. The movie is purely for the fans of the TV series, recalling the group memories from 6 years ago, like an old friends gathering.

The case this time is a difficult one as it involved another court case (bribery of the ex-transport minister which is political sensitive). A good ending was expected with all the impossible acts the team had done.

One would think how free a prosecutor would be if he only need to take care with 1 case to investigate only? There should be a whole pile of files that would go up to the roof in reality!!
The movie is using the same background music means the music director was taking a break!? (perhaps it's the same person from the TV series!)

ps. Some of the characters indeed was shown in the TV special edition on 3/7/06 in Japan..!

2. The heartbreak kid
A comedy by Ben Stiller again, which he acted as a man in his 40s and being pushed to get married. A beautiful lady came by which was possibly a love at first sight. They got married within 6 weeks and Stiller finally found out the reality of another half during the honeymoon.

It could be a reality for sure if one hasn't been knowing each other in deep in a relationship, especially one is missing some crucial backgrounds such as ex-boy friend, career, financial status and family members of another (they all appeared as a nightmare to the new hubby).

The situation of meeting a "true love" was ironic, but it could be true to some people and it came out a question like,' would the one you marry is your true love?' In my opinion, it might not be, but it is your role to make it as the one after making commitment..!

The story continued with more misunderstanding and development of relationships with others causing a lot of mess. It did look like a drama but it could just happen in everyday life in different forms that would not be interesting at all..

I would say, this movie would be another one in the list (includes HK movie: 十分愛, 獨家試愛 etc..) for couples which are going to get married as for education purpose.

My favouritie all-purpose slippers were being wasted and nailed on the wall of the famous opera house (Esplande) in Singapore..?! @_@

Post 1/2 Marathon... 2/12/07

I don't think I will ever run anything over 10Km... it's just devastating and possible harmful to the body... *_*

I felt very happy after completing 10km as indicated on the road sign along the route, but my left knee started to ache (that was from my old wound as I got twisted in one of the ski trip back in Australia). Then it extended to the ankle of the left leg medially... That would be around 12-13k... This burning feeling got into my right knee then right ankle...

The most scientific explanation would be, I was trying to reduce pain by compromising with my gaits and pressure points...

As usual, I played with those paper cups I grabbed during the run. I found a way to drink water properly: to fold these cups in a V-shape so that I can put my mouth around and suck up the water or Power 100 (electorlyte drink). I've got no time to grab the free banana though..! ;p

Thank God, I've made it. The track was definitely easier than HK as very flat but a boring one as it was bounded with white boards as in construction site. It would be better if the Ferris wheel starts to work next year with some other constructions being done around the National Stadium...

My Ipod sport kit failed to record the distance that I have run. The time was around 2 hour 7 min.. I was disappointed with the failure of technology... >_<

Felt a bit warm on the face tonight, possibly a bit over-burnt by the sun during the race.. Not sure when my legs would be returned to me... hope it wouldn't be too long..!

Sorry guys, did not take any photo as I think the DC is too bulky.... Let's wait for the photo at the finishing line taken by the organisation later...

Thanks again for those encouraging words and support..!! They kept me up through joining the whole event..! ^_^
